Ahlgrens Bilar

One of Sweden’s biggest prides is the Ahlgrens Bilar candy, the number one candy that pops up whenever you think of Swedish treats. It was launched by Ahlgrens in 1953 and have been with us ever since. They come in three different colours and were originally inspired by the American marshmallows. The flavour is sweet and fruity and simply yummy. A must try if you are looking for very Swedish candy.

The candies are shapes as mini cars, hence the name “bilar”, which means cars in Swedish. They are very soft and squishy with a lot of flavour in every bite. The bag is colourful with bright red and yellow, at the bottom there is a transparent part where you can clearly see the goodies.
