Many customers are worried about security when ordering online. Here we provide answers to some frequently asked questions:
What is the Card Security Code or credit card verification number?
It is also called the CVV2 number and consists of 3 numbers that can be found on the back of the card, at the end of the field reserved for a signature. Each card has its own verification number and its purpose is to protect the cardholder from credit card fraud.
Note: The verification number for American Express cards consists of 4 digits and is displayed on the front of the card.
Do you check for card fraud?
We have several policies in place to detect fraudulent activity. Security is controlled by all parties – Snus Direct, PayEx and the involved banks.
What is PayEx?
For all credit card payments, Snus Direct has chosen PayEx as its partner, which is Sweden's leading payment service provider (PSP). PayEx processes all credit card information and all PayEx transactions are encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology to protect customers' personal information and credit card information.
Is it safe to shop at Snus Direct?
Communication between you, us and PayEx is always encrypted when sending card information. Our security level is the highest possible, and Snus Direct never process or store any credit card information.
Why was my payment unsuccessful?
If you notice that your card payment does not go through for some reason, we recommend contacting our customer service via email customerservice@snusdirect.eu to find out what went wrong.
Unfortunately, however, we do not have information about errors that occurred during a PayPal payment or bank transfer, in which case you should contact your bank or PayPal customer service directly to resolve the issue.
